4. PARAGON LIVES UP TO ITS NAME
Paragon Culinary School in Colorado Springs finishes its Federal Accreditation by the end of 2008 and is graduating its first class this month. It is the statistics that have everyone talking. A 100% pre-graduation placement rate and an average position of sous chef far exceeds any other culinary school in the region. But that is still not the most surprising: An 82% placement rate for students HALFWAY through the program? Now that is amazing.

Paragon students run the 4-star Black Bear Restaurant and Palapa’s Surfside.
